Welcome to Telapapel.
By accessing our website, placing an order, submitting an inquiry, or using our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service. These terms are intended to ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for both our customers and our studio.
About Telapapel
Telapapel is a Filipino bindery studio creating handcrafted journals, notebook refills, bespoke commissions, restoration services, workshops, and related paper goods.
Because many of our products are handmade, slight variations in fabric placement, stitching, color, and finishing details may naturally occur. These variations are part of the handmade character of each piece and should not be considered defects.
Orders
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit orders at our discretion, including instances involving pricing errors, suspected fraud, or unavailable products.
For bespoke commissions, restoration services, and personalized orders, production will begin only after any required payments or deposits have been received.
Pricing
All prices are listed in Philippine Pesos (PHP) unless otherwise stated.
Prices may change without prior notice. However, once an order has been placed and payment has been confirmed, the agreed-upon price will be honored.
Shipping fees, taxes, duties, and other applicable charges are calculated separately unless otherwise specified.
Handmade Products
Each Telapapel piece is handcrafted and may contain slight variations from product photographs.
While we strive for consistency, no two handmade journals are exactly alike. We believe these subtle differences contribute to the uniqueness of every piece.
Bespoke Commissions & Personalized Orders
Bespoke, personalized, and made-to-order items are created specifically for each customer.
Because of their custom nature:
- Orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun.
- Personalized and bespoke items are non-refundable and non-returnable unless an error was made by Telapapel.
- Design approvals provided by customers are considered final.
Customers are responsible for reviewing all submitted names, dates, spelling, artwork, and design information before approval.
Book Restoration Services
Book restoration is a highly individualized service.
While we always aim to preserve and improve the condition of each item entrusted to us, restoration outcomes may vary depending on the age, condition, materials, and existing damage of the original piece.
Telapapel cannot guarantee that every item can be restored to its original condition.
Workshops
Workshop registrations are subject to availability and confirmation.
Due to the preparation, materials, venue arrangements, and limited slots involved in each workshop, the following cancellation and rescheduling policies apply:
Participant Cancellations
- Cancellations made at least seven (7) days before the workshop may be eligible for a transfer to another workshop date or a workshop credit for future use.
- Cancellations made less than seven (7) days before the workshop are generally non-refundable.
- Participants who fail to attend a workshop without prior notice ("no-shows") are not eligible for refunds, transfers, or credits.
Requests for exceptions due to illness, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Workshop Changes & Cancellations
Telapapel reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, relocate, modify, or cancel workshops due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Severe weather conditions
- Flooding, earthquakes, or other natural disasters
- Public safety concerns
- Venue-related issues
- Illness, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances affecting the instructor
- Government restrictions
- Transportation disruptions
- Power or utility interruptions
- Insufficient participant enrollment
If Telapapel cancels a workshop, participants will be offered either:
- A full refund of workshop fees paid; or
- A transfer to a future workshop date, where applicable.
Telapapel is not responsible for any travel, accommodation, transportation, leave credits, or other personal expenses incurred as a result of workshop cancellations or schedule changes.
Workshop Experience
Workshops are designed to accommodate participants with varying skill levels and learning paces. While every effort is made to guide participants through the complete project, completion of a project during the workshop cannot be guaranteed.
Participants are encouraged to focus on learning the techniques and processes taught during the session rather than the speed of completion.
We are committed to creating a welcoming, enjoyable, and meaningful learning experience and will always communicate any workshop updates as early as possible.
Shipping & Delivery
Estimated delivery dates are provided as guidelines only.
Delays caused by couriers, weather conditions, customs, natural disasters, or circumstances beyond our control are not the responsibility of Telapapel.
Risk of loss transfers to the customer once the package has been accepted by the shipping carrier.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including photographs, product designs, text, graphics, branding, and logos, remains the property of Telapapel unless otherwise credited.
No content may be reproduced, copied, distributed, or used without prior written permission.
Artist Collaborations
Artwork featured in artist collaboration collections remains the intellectual property of the respective artists unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Unauthorized reproduction or commercial use of artist works is prohibited.
Shopify Platform
Our online store is powered by Shopify.
Any purchases made through this website are transactions between you and Telapapel. Shopify is not responsible for the products, services, fulfillment, or customer support provided by Telapapel.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time.
Any changes will become effective upon posting to this website.
