About the Artist

Edmar S. Lapuz, known online as artsbyedmar, is a self-taught visual artist from Tarlac whose work is best recognized for its expressive watercolor florals and gentle, nature-inspired compositions. Through years of self-learning and experimentation across different mediums, he has developed a distinctive style that reflects both technical curiosity and quiet storytelling.

Beyond creating original paintings, Edmar is also a small business owner, illustrator, and content creator who believes that art grows through consistency, authenticity, and community. His collaboration with Telapapel marks his first notebook collection, where his illustrations find a new home as companions to stories yet to be written, carrying with them the same warmth, sincerity, and hope that inspire his own artistic journey.

Additional Information

Some stories don't need grand adventures to be worth remembering. Sometimes, they're found in a warm breakfast shared with family, an afternoon walk through Liwasang Rizal, or the quiet sight of butterflies dancing in a neighborhood garden.

Araw-araw is ArtsByEdmar's interpretation of these familiar moments that many Filipinos have lived, seen, or fondly remember. Created exclusively for Telapapel, this first Artist Edition features three original Pinoy-inspired illustrations transformed into notebook refill covers that reveal their full artwork when laid completely flat.

Whether you choose Almusal, Liwasan, or Hardin, each refill is a small reminder that beauty often lives in the ordinary. Complementing the collection are two timeless plain linen refills in Brown and Gray, designed for those who prefer a quieter canvas while pairing seamlessly with the artist editions.

What Makes It Special?

Artist Collection

Each Artist Collection is a carefully curated creative experience. Every detail, from the featured artwork and companion plain covers to the colored stitching that binds each refill together, is thoughtfully selected by the artist to reflect their unique style and vision. It's an invitation to step into their world and carry a small piece of it with you, one page at a time.

Thoughfully Made

More Than Just a Cover

Every artist cover is thoughtfully printed on premium heavyweight paper and finished with a protective lamination, giving each piece the presence of a miniature art print while remaining ready for everyday use. Open the refill, and the artwork continues on the back side, revealing the full illustration as a quiet invitation into the artist's creative world before your own story begins.
